1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Debriefr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Debriefr is a tracking and discussion application that allows users to track movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, and related progress, maintain lists, and discuss content with others. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated or changed at any time.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as chat messages and notes). By submitting content, you grant Debriefr a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. Third-Party Data

Movie and TV show metadata is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDb). This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. Episode air times are sourced from TVmaze.com. Book metadata may be sourced from Open Library and Google Books, and podcast metadata may be sourced from Podcast Index and public podcast feeds. All titles, covers, posters, artwork, metadata, and related data are the property of their respective owners.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debriefr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
